About Scott:

Scott Buchanan retired as deputy chief of police with the West Valley City Police Department in May 2022 to take the helm of First Response Mortgage Team on a full-time basis.  Working with members of the public safety community, their families, and many supporters in this new capacity has been a rewarding new experience for Scott.  Scott works with police chiefs, sheriffs, and other government officials to educate first responders on the benefits of smart and financially responsible home ownership.
